Gideon Bean

Auras & Embers Book 1 | January 26th, 2024

All Gideon Bean wants is to be left alone to burn corpses in peace. Is that too much to ask?

Nothing exciting happens at Peterson Cremation Services – exactly how Gideon prefers it. All his life, he has seen things – scary and bizarre visions that weren’t really there. Working the night shift at the crematorium and days at Sheryl's Shell Shack lets him keep his head down and ignore the strange world around him. The last time Gideon reacted to one of his hallucinations, he ended up in a psychiatric hold. He can’t let anything like that happen again – it would break his mother’s heart.

Then suddenly, a woman with flaming wings and fiery eyes crawls out of a crematorium oven one night.

Dacey Menet is a Mythical who is reborn in fire. She’s investigating a series of local murders and disappearances, and she is enraged to have been one of the victims. Now Dacey needs Gideon’s help to catch her murderer.

Because it turns out his ‘hallucinations’ are real – Gideon Bean can see magic.

Against All Odds

Sophie and The Odd Ones Book 4 | February 17th, 2023

Sophie has come back home to try and come to grips with her new reality: She’s a Fae, not human, and her memories have been stolen. Oh, and she’s a shard – a fractured piece of... someone.

All Sophie knows is that the ‘someone’ she used to be angered the Fae queen, who then split her into five separate beings and scattered them on earth. But why? And why take their memories?

The Odd Ones, now including Ruby – who Sophie thought was a long-long twin sister but is actually also one of the shards – are on a quest to find all the missing shards. The question is: How will they find the other three?

And if that wasn’t enough, a new important death vision leads Sophie, Mac, and Ruby on a new mission to Las Vegas. Posing as high rollers, the crew must track the killers and shut down the illegal shifter fight club where the murder took place. At least that will take Sophie’s mind off how truly bizarre her life has become.

While on the case, new visions and new friends give Sophie some hope that she can figure herself out. But the Odd Ones will need to hurry – they aren't the only ones trying to find the lost shards.

Odd Times for Sophie Feegle Cover

Odd Times for Sophie Feegle

Sophie and The Odd Ones Book 3 |

Welcome to the Mythical town of Murias – a quaint little town in Cascadia where fairytale creatures quietly live among humans. When a series of unsolved and bizarre murders occurs, it threatens to expose the Mythicals in town. And the timing couldn’t be worse: Murias’s Hunter's Moon Festival – Cascadia’s largest Mythical event – is less than a week away.

Sophie’s unique powers are called into action once more. Marcella, head of the Fae Conclave, has a vested interest in ensuring Murias’s is a success and sends Sophie and Mac to find the murderer. This has the added benefit of getting Sophie out of San Francisco, where a local wolf shifter pack has her in their sights after the death of their alpha.

Much to Sophie’s chagrin, the Conclave also wants her to work closely with her newly discovered twin sister Ruby. While Ruby has her own unique supernatural abilities, she is everything that Sophie is not: bubbly, cheerful, and a “reformed” serial killer.

At least Sophie gets to bring her fox shifter boyfriend Mac on the trip, meet Mac’s family, and, if all goes well, maybe even experience the Hunter's Moon Festival. But as always with Sophie, things start to get odd in the town of Murias.
